About the Role
The Associate – CQ will be responsible for supporting laboratory equipment and instrumentation activities within the Quality Control function. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment qualification, vendor coordination, laboratory safety, documentation and Quality Control software administration.
The position requires strong technical knowledge of laboratory instruments along with an understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Instrument Maintenance
- Handle breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and equipment, including hardware and software issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment according to established schedules.
- Coordinate with equipment vendors for maintenance activities under CMC and AMC agreements.
- Escalate analytical and technical issues to the appropriate level.
- Support procurement of new laboratory instruments and equipment according to laboratory requirements.
- Provide support for commissioning, installation and qualification of laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities to improve equipment efficiency.
- Manage spare inventory for laboratory equipment.

- Ensuring quality records and documentation are properly maintained.
- Filing records according to established policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Diploma in Electronics & Instrumentation, or
- B.Sc. in Electronics & Instrumentation, or
- M.Sc. in Electronics & Instrumentation, or
- B.Tech in Electronics & Instrumentation.
- 1–5 years of relevant work experience.
- Technical skills in laboratory equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Understanding of applicable quality standards, processes and policies.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with specialized Quality Control instruments while maintaining required accuracy specifications.
