A reputed pharmaceutical organization is looking for an experienced Senior Officer – Quality Control Testing for its Microbiology department in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The selected candidate will be responsible for microbiological and chemical testing, environmental monitoring, sample analysis, documentation, and laboratory activities in compliance with cGMP and GLP requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sampling and analysis of water samples, including chemical and microbiological testing, and maintain relevant records.
- Conduct microbiological environmental monitoring of clean areas.
- Perform microbial limit testing and method suitability testing as per approved procedures.
- Prepare culture media and carry out performance testing of prepared media.
- Perform all laboratory activities according to approved specifications, STPs and SOPs.
- Conduct microbiological testing as per approved validation and qualification protocols.
- Report OOS, OOC, OOT and OOAL results to the immediate supervisor or Head of Department.
- Perform daily verification and calibration of microbiology laboratory instruments.
- Prepare and standardize volumetric solutions and reagents and maintain appropriate records.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP and Good Documentation Practices in all laboratory activities.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards within the microbiology laboratory.
- Perform chemical and microbiological testing of raw materials and document the results.
- Analyze finished products, in-process samples and stability samples according to applicable SOPs, STPs, specifications, protocols and pharmacopoeial requirements.
- Dispose of unused or leftover samples after analysis in accordance with the respective SOP.
- Maintain proper laboratory documentation and ensure data integrity throughout the testing process.
