Clinical Research Coordinator, Dental
Job Description
The Clinical Research Coordinator, Dental will support the execution of oral care clinical studies and clinical trial-related activities. The role involves participant management, clinical data collection, documentation, regulatory compliance and coordination with investigators and internal teams.
Candidates should have a background in dental clinical practice along with an interest in clinical research and knowledge of GCP and applicable ethical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the end-to-end execution of internal and external clinical studies.
- Identify, screen and enroll eligible study participants.
- Support the informed consent process under Principal Investigator supervision.
- Monitor study participants and record relevant clinical information.
- Record and report adverse events and protocol deviations as required.
- Manage clinical test products, including storage, accountability and dispensing.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of clinical data.
- Enter and maintain clinical data in electronic systems.
- Assist with clinical trial data compilation and CRF/EDC activities.
- Support Clinical Trial Agreements, contracts and NDAs.
- Ensure clinical facilities and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
- Maintain audit readiness and site compliance with GCP requirements.
- Maintain Trial Master File (TMF) documentation.
- Coordinate IEC/IRB submissions and related documentation.
- Collaborate with R&D, clinical research and other cross-functional teams.
- Support administrative and financial activities related to the department.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry (BDS) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1–2 years of post-degree clinical dental practice experience.
- Interest in dental or clinical research is preferred.
- Previous clinical trial experience will be an advantage.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Understanding of clinical research and trial processes.
- Knowledge of ethical requirements and IEC/IRB processes.
- Understanding of clinical data management and electronic data systems.
- Good documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate clinical records.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple clinical research activities.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
