Job Description
The Associate – Field Reporting will provide technical and operational support for field and leadership reporting. The role includes developing, enhancing, validating, refreshing and releasing dashboards used to understand targets, customer engagement, sales performance, execution and business trends.
The position works with business reporting, analytics, data management, Field Effectiveness, Incentive Compensation and field teams. Reporting platforms such as Vision and Gateway are supported through an agile, Jira-based delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Development
- Develop and enhance Tableau dashboards and report tabs.
- Configure KPIs, calculations, filters, hierarchies and navigation.
- Support customer and geographic views and other dashboard features.
- Work on new metrics, data-source changes, field-force changes and visual enhancements.
Reporting Operations
- Perform scheduled test and production refreshes.
- Conduct quality checks, approvals and report releases.
- Monitor report refreshes and availability.
- Investigate reporting failures and anomalies.
- Implement approved fixes and communicate status.
- Support quarterly switchovers, report archival and platform maintenance.
Data Validation & Quality Control
- Validate dashboard outputs against business rules and source data.
- Perform unit, functional, regression and data-quality testing.
- Check calculations, filters, access controls, layouts and user personas.
- Document testing evidence, defects, root causes, fixes and release approvals.
Requirements & Field Support
- Understand reporting requirements, KPIs, data requirements and dependencies.
- Support report mockups and technical designs.
- Prepare data-requirement documentation and implementation plans.
- Handle routine field and stakeholder reporting queries.
- Investigate dashboard and data-related issues.
Sprint Delivery & Issue Management
- Maintain Jira tickets with requirements, acceptance criteria, estimates and status.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily coordination, demonstrations and retrospectives.
- Identify delivery risks and coordinate with business and technical teams.
- Track assigned issues and action items through closure.
Access, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Process assigned user-access and exception requests.
- Ensure report access follows approved business scope and user personas.
- Follow development, release, access-control, documentation and data-handling procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve dashboard performance and reporting operations.
- Support automation of recurring validation and refresh activities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Field Effectiveness, Incentive Compensation, analytics, iDNA/data-management and field teams.
- Coordinate data dependencies, UAT readiness and production releases.
- Communicate progress, risks, decisions and support requirements to stakeholders.
Eligibility / Qualification
Candidates should have:
- Master’s degree, or Bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in business intelligence, data analytics, dashboard development, commercial reporting and/or sales operations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the bio-pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Hands-on experience with Tableau dashboards.
